Method
Stated in enough detail to be argued with. A method nobody can check is a claim, and there are enough of those in this market already.
Real money, not a quote
Every figure comes from a transfer that was actually sent and actually landed. Published tariffs and on-screen quotes are recorded separately and never counted as a measurement.
Same amount, same hour, same day
Routes are compared against each other within one morning, because a corridor does not cost the same at 09:00 as it does at 16:00, or on the 25th as on the 12th.
Measured against a named reference
The spread is calculated against the ECB reference rate taken within the hour of the send. A spread against an unnamed baseline is not a measurement.
Every charge, not the headline fee
Sender fees, recipient deductions and correspondent charges are itemised and summed. Most of the cost is in the rate, where none of them appear.
Withheld after ninety days
A figure we have not re-verified inside ninety days is not served at all — not served with a caveat, not served greyed out. Removed.
Rules that do not bend
These are the reasons anyone would pay for this, and they cost nothing to keep.
- Every figure carries the date it was verified
- No exceptions, including on this page.
- Nulls, never estimates
- A gap is safe. An invented number ends the business the first time someone checks.
- Stale is withheld, not caveated
- Past 90 days it is not served at all, rather than served with a warning.
- Silence is inferred, not direct
- A provider that never replied told us something, but not what a record tells us.
- Never claim a corridor is live
- Until real customer money has settled.
What is never published
- Anything covered by a partner NDA.
- Anything learned in a conversation where the other person did not expect to be quoted — at any confidence, however useful it would be.
- Anything we cannot trace to a document, an application we made, or a transfer we measured.
